Last weekend, a group of Muslim radicals raided a village in southern Chad in an effort to forcefully convert all to Islam. They burned down four churches and 150 houses, and killed several people. This is a huge threat to the fledging Church in our country. Read more.

On Monday, May 12, a 7.9 magnitude earthquake occurred in Sichuan Province in China. The earthquake shocks reached Beijing (3.8 in magnitude) and Taiwan, 1,000 miles away. Over 18,000 people died; many thousands more are feared dead. A Christian orphanage and several Bible schools were affected. Read more.

Today the situation in Burma is even more horrifying than it was on May 2, just after being ravaged by Cyclone Nargis. In addition to those already dead from the storm, more are dying because of injuries, illness, and a lack of clean water, food and sanitation. Read more.
