Missionaries
You can help provide the needs of a native missionary for as little as $50 per month. Full support for a native missionary varies according to the country, family size and local circumstances. Those in cities or more developed countries need much more.

Persons who send $50 or more monthly help to make it possible for a native missionary to serve the Lord. Supporters receive the name and photo of the missionary they are helping, plus information about the group with which he or she serves. In most instances, Christian Aid assigns co-sponsors to assure an adequate level of support.

Children
Indigenous Christian groups are caring for destitute and needy children in orphanages, boarding schools and with individual families. Persons who send $20 or more monthly receive the name and photo of the child they help.

Shared Support
Sponsorship funds are sent to the mission group from which the child or missionary receives his or her support. The leaders of each indigenous mission receive with joy the combined contributions of all sponsors, and use them wisely to assure that every worker and needy child is provided for according to need and without partiality.

Sending your gift
Please indicate with your next gift the sponsorship code(s) for the missionary or needy child you are helping. After that, your regular, faith promise gift commitment will be printed on the return portion of each receipt. Return that portion with each gift to apply your contribution in the manner indicated.

If you want to add something extra for a birthday or special occasion, please enter the amount you want applied to each individual in the "Amount Enclosed" column on the return portion of your receipt.

If you want to change your faith commitment for anyone you sponsor, alter the amount printed in the "Faith Promise" column on the line of the one you want changed. When you get your next receipt, make sure your revised commitment is printed properly on the bottom half.

Many sponsors enclose something extra to help pay for postage, photos and other office costs. Any undesignated "extra" amount will be applied to where most needed in the worldwide operations of Christian Aid.

Special gifts
If you wish to send something extra for Christmas or other times, the funds will be forwarded to the leaders to buy an appropriate gift. Please DO NOT SEND PARCELS because shipping costs and customs duty will exceed their value. In many countries, such parcels would be stolen long before they reached their destination.

We encourage our sponsors to pray daily using Ephesians 1:15-23 and 3:15-21 as a guide. Trust the Lord to protect and use those who are sponsored.

If your circumstances change.
If you have taken on the responsibility for the support of one or more individuals and find that your circumstances change so that you cannot continue, please let us know immediately so that we can find others to take your place in providing that support.

You may keep the picture(s) of the one(s) you have supported as a reminder to pray for God's blessing in their lives.

Trust the Lord to work in your situation so that in His time you will again be able to share in the outreach to needy ones in lands of poverty and persecution through the ministry of Christian Aid.
