Pray for Project Needs

Below is a small sampling of the many projects that Christian Aid is currently involved in helping.

China
School in China's Fujian Province
A Christian Aid-supported seven-story church building was completed in Fujian province. The first floor is used for Sunday services, the middle floors for children’s Sunday school and the top floors for training gospel workers. They are praying that God will provide them with $20,000 to pay the remaining debt for construction, operating fees and for sending missionaries to the fields. Pray for God’s blessing and protection on this ministry. To contribute, click here...

Crowded Burmese Church Meeting in Orphanage bedroomBurma

A ministry in Burma has around 45 people, including orphans, in attendance at their worship meetings. They are currently meeting in the boys’ bedroom of their orphanage, but it is woefully inadequate. They are in desperate need of a church building for worship services, daily devotions and counseling. A 40’ x 24’ building costs $5,000. They ask for your prayers for this need. Christian youth praying in JordanJordan

Lord of Glory Ministries seeks to reach youth with the gospel. As part of outreach program, LGM is praying for $3,000 to establish a small center for young people that will include a room for meetings, fellowship, counseling and computer use. A space is available but needs to be furnished and decorated. Pray that many children will visit the center and make the decision to follow Christ. To contribute, click here...

Kenyan church meets outside under the treesKenya

Missionaries of Unreached Tribal Ministries have planted 10 new churches in Islamic areas. They are now meeting under trees as shown. Gifts through Christian Aid have provided UTM with four church buildings ($2,000 each) in the past, and missionaries are now crying to the Lord for buildings before the rainy season arrives. Pray with them to meet this need. To contribute, click here...

An open market shop in North AfricaNorth Africa

An effective missions strategy in closed countries is to provide converts with a little shop in the open market, helping sustain believers’ families in these poor nations as well as providing an open door to share the gospel. Indigenous missionaries are praying for funds, usually $500 to 2,500 each, to provide as many of these "missions stations" as possible. To contribute, click here...

An open market shop in North AfricaSri Lanka

A group of believers meets in the home of a missionary family. When the group gathers, they take everything out of the living room so all the people can sit on the floor for the meeting. Believers who come to this church work as laborers, some in the nearby rubber plantation. Though they have little resources to support the missionary, they bring what they can, such as food for his family. A few in the congregation have small businesses and one has a poultry farm. These give of their time and resources to the church.

Many from the Singhalese and Tamil people groups worship together in this congregation which has grown from two people to over 40 in two years. Now they are so crowded that a larger facility is greatly needed. They are praying for the Lord to provide a meeting hall (a gift of $5000 will build it). They have identified a piece of land (photo) where they want to build. To contribute, click here...

Invest wisely. Send an indigenous missionary.
Christian Aid seeks to establish a witness for our Lord Jesus among unreached people groups
by assisting highly effective native missionaries who already know the languages and culture
and are getting the job done for less cost.
