Christian Aid is governed and staffed by evangelistic, Bible believing, born again Christians who uphold the fundamental doctrines of historic evangelical Christianity. The By-Laws require that all Board Members and officers subscribe without reservation to the doctrinal statement of the mission, which includes the following:

We believe in the divine inspiration and authority of the Holy Scriptures. By this is meant a miraculous guidance of the Holy Spirit in their original writing (II Pet. 1:21), extending to all parts of the Old and New Testaments, applying even to the choice of words, so that the result is the very Word of God; the only infallible rule of faith and practice (II Tim. 3:16).

We believe in one Lord God Almighty, who has revealed Himself as God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

We believe that as through one man sin entered the world and death through sin, so death passed upon all men for that all have sinned, and the wages of sin is death (Rom. 5:12, 6:23).

We believe in the virgin birth and true deity of our Lord Jesus Christ; in His death as the only true substitute for sin, and that His shed blood was and is a sufficient expiation for the sins of all men. We believe in His bodily resurrection from the dead, His ascension, and exaltation above all heavens (Eph. 4:10).

We believe that men are justified by faith alone and are accounted righteous before God only through the merit of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and that all who are so justified are born anew and receive eternal life which is Christ in us the hope of glory (Col. 1:27), but that those who have not been born again shall not see the Kingdom of God (John 3:3).

We believe in the everlasting blessedness of the saved who are in Christ, and that God Himself will judge the lost who are outside of Christ with eternal punishment.

We believe that a local church is the body of Christ in that locality (I Cor. 12:27), but that all regenerated believers are also one body in Christ (Eph. 2:16) and constitute the true church (Col. 1:24).

We believe in the pre-millenial second coming to earth of our Lord Jesus Christ in power and great glory, that He will change our vile bodies and fashion them like unto His glorious body (Phil. 3:21). We believe that He shall reign as King of Kings and Lord of Lords upon this earth for a thousand years (Rev. 20:5), and in Heaven forever.

We believe it to be the supreme responsibility of the disciples of our Lord Jesus Christ to plant His church among all nations (Rom. 1:5, Rev. 5:9).
