May 2010

ECUADOR, South America - Children in remote riverside villages travel to their Christian schools by long flat-bottomed boats run by gasoline- powered motors. To replace a very old and broken motor will cost $3000. So far donors have sent in $1,588.41 toward this project.

CAMBODIA, S. E. Asia - Many poor Cambodian believers earn less than a dollar a day so a $5 Bible is too expensive. A total of 52 gifts amounting to $4,783 came in to give these dear believers their first Bible. This will supply 957 Bibles.

INDIA, Asia - After 40 years of ministry, Pastor Roberts was losing his sight. Due to an overwhelming response of love from our generous donors the cost of his eye operation was completely covered.

LEBANON, Middle East - We are glad to report that with only eight gifts we received funds to provide 25 Bedouin children an opportunity to attend Christian camp this summer.

CHINA, Asia - Chinese believers have a desire to open Sunday schools for children who need to know Christ. To date, $90 has been given to help with the expense of training teachers.

NORTH AFRICA - For tent-dwelling tribal people living in the desert, any kind of reading or listening material is a treat. Almost $2000 was supplied to purchase Bibles and Christian cassette tapes.

TAJIKISTAN, Central Asia - Christians in Tajikistan have friends and relatives in next door Afghanistan. To help Christian Tajiks win Afghans to Christ, 10 gifts provided $1,430 toward needed training and materials.

April 2010

CHILE, South America - A month after the earthquake in Haiti, another major earthquake struck the west coast country of Chile. Near the epicenter, houses and churches were completely demolished. Gifts from our donors totaling $3,162 came in to help rebuild churches.

Africa - Thanks to 36 donors who sent $3,618 to help care for needy children like Kati, who would be living on the street without the care provided by caring Christians.

IRAQ, Middle East - Christian workers rejoice in seeing churches spreading the hope of the gospel in this land. In order to help them grow in their faith donors sent in $2,120 to buy a supply of Bible study book for these faithful churches.

BANGLADESH, South Asia - Funds for five hand pump wells was received. When a poor village receives a well given in the name of Christ, they not only receive clean drinking water but a witness to the living water of eternal life.

ALBANIA, Eastern Europe - Unlike the past, believers in Albania now are free to preach the gospel. God is changing lives. Over $800 was sent by donors to assist a group of believes rent a building for church meetings.

HAITI, Caribbean Sea - An earthquake can take houses, schools, and churches and turn them into a pile of rubble in seconds. Gifts amounting to $2,690 came in to help Pastor Pierre and other believers rebuild their churches.

INIDA, South Asia - We received $665 toward a motorcycle so a missionary can reach more places with the gospel.

March 2010

PERU, South America - We received 33 gifts in the amount of $2,173 to buy food for the “Breakfast and Bible Story” program run by believers ministering to needy children in Peru.

JORDAN, Middle East - From caring hearts, 37 supporters gave over $2000 to buy large print Bibles so the elderly Christians in Jordan can continue reading God’s Word daily.

CONGO BRAZZAVILLE, Africa - Little Eliza and other needy children are not living on the street because caring Christians provide a safe home to grow up in the love of Christ. Praise the Lord for the generous gifts that totaled $2,565.27 that will go toward food, clothing, and schooling.

HAITI, Caribbean Sea - While much assistance has been sent to help the people of Haiti recover from the destructive earthquake in January, it will take years to rebuild. From the March request 24 people gave $2,085 to help believers to rebuild their lives.

PHILIPPINES - Public Preaching Ministry has found that offering free medical and dental assistance to poor Muslims to be a good way to open their heats to the gospel. We thank God that $625 was provided.

CAMEROOM, Africa - When Francois took the gospel to isolated Bekomo Island he discovered many with no chance to learn in school. He started a school but the students had to sit on the dirt floor. Gifts came in to purchase 45 school desks.

February 2010

INDIA, South Asia - To help believers provide necessities and give spiritual encouragement to 200 families who lost everything in a recent flood, $265 came in to help with this need.

VIETNAM, Southeast Asia - With gifts totaling $1840 native missionaries were able to provide 94 radios for illiterate Hmong tribal people so they can listen to Bible broadcasts.

GUINEA BISSAU, Africa - Praise the Lord, 38 gifts came in totaling $3151.25 to help native missionaries care for needy women and children.

SRI LANKA, South Asia - Christian Aid received $296 toward a building to provide reading and nutrition classes to the Gypsy community.

SIBERIA, Russia - $158 was given to an indigenous mission to help renovate a building to provide village believers with a meeting hall.

ECUADOR, South America - 26 donors sent $2,838 to provide Bibles for 13 prison congregations led by Prison Outreach of Ecuador.

LEBANON, Middle East - Cedars of Lebanon received $1,513 from 26 donors to provide New Testaments and children’s Bibles.

January 2010

PARAGUAY, South America - Paraguay Missionary Church provides meals of potatoes, beans, chicken and noodles to needy children. Thankful parents listen to the truth of God when they see this kindness towards their children. Over $970 came in to help defray the monthly expense of $1500.

CHINA, Asia - To encourage Pastor Fu in his ministry $155 was received.

SENEGAL, Africa - To help believers rescuing children off the street $550 came in towards beds ($90 each) and blankets and sheet sets ($30 each).

KYRGYZSTAN, Central Asia - Children were sleeping on the cold floor and often became sick in the winter months. 42 gifts were received to buy 129 warm children’s beds.

NEPAL, South Asia - One kind gift of $100 came in towards a motorcycle for Pastor Misra.

JORDAN, Middle East - Believers started a wheelchair ministry to the elderly needy Bedouins, Armenians, Gypsy and Druze. $504 was received to supply 4 wheelchairs.

December 2009

NIGERIA, Africa - Christian Aid received 13 gifts that amounted to $1,026 toward a school on wheels for nomadic Fulani families so that their children will receive schooling while they travel herding their cattle.

INDIA, South Asia - Praise God! Donors sent $410 to cover the cost of tires needed for the gospel van used by native missionaries to village evangelism.

UZBEKISTAN, Central Asia - To encourage persecuted believers who risk their safety to reach Uzbek Muslims with the gospel 7 gifts came in totaling $510.

VIETNAM, South East Asia - A total of 71 generous donors supplied $7,835 to help native missionaries reach poor victims with leprosy.

BOLIVIA, South America - To help native missionaries reach villages high up in the Andes Mountains $2,209 was received to purchase 73 hiking boots for missionaries.

SYRIA, Middle East - Christian Aid Mission donors provided enough money to give 100 poor Gypsy families warm blankets to help them survive the cold temperatures.

MYANMAR (BURMA), South East Asia - In the name of Jesus donors sent in $7,297 to provide a village church with a well for clean drinking water. The Christians will gladly share the water with those in the village who do not know Christ which will open hearts to the gospel.

November 2009

PHILIPPINES - For the victims of Typhoon Ondoy that struck the Philippines we received 39 gifts totaling $3274. Please continue to pray for recovery and the emotional and spiritual needs of the survivors.

ARAB COUNTRIES - Many Arab Bedouin children are having a chance to attend school because of caring Christians who not only gave but prayed. Donors sent in $1690 towards school supplies and backpacks for these needy children. That was enough to help nearly 50 children who are overjoyed to receive such a practical gift.

URUGUAY - We received 27 gifts to help the Uruguay native missionaries with their Christmas outreach last December. Those children who attended the Christmas party heard the message of salvation in song and drama. Enough money was donated to purchase clothing and shoes for 69 needy children.

NIGERIA - Praise the Lord! Ifanyi (E-fan-ya) who had an accident when chased by wild Baboons can walk again. His operation was successful and now he is training other native missionaries to carry the gospel to the unreached areas. To assist Ifanyi, in his ministry Christian Aid supporters sent in $1740 for Bibles and discipleship materials. Please continue to pray for many Nigerians to have their eyes open to their need for Christ.

CUBA - On a map can you locate Cuba an Island south of the coast of Florida? The western port city of Pinar del Rio is struggling to rebuild after major damage from a Hurricane, yet excited believers are on the job to reach their neighbors for Christ. They had asked for $3000 to rebuild three house churches that had been destroyed. God answered their faithful efforts in prayer and ministry. We received $3025.

SIBERIA, RUSSIA - Because the building they rent is being sold a group of believers will soon not have a place to meet. Most people in this region will not rent to Bible believing Christians so they were overjoyed when they found a building for sale below the normal cost. They need $8100 and so far we received exactly $3045.37 to help them. Pray that the rest of what is needed will be supplied.

MONGOLIA, CHINA - For many years Gao (Gow) was a committed communist fighting against Christians. One day out of nowhere a bright light appeared and God spoke telling him to pray. Ever since that day he has been a faithful worker for God. To encourage Brother Gao in his ministry to start churches and support the Bible Training Schools generous givers gave $1565.

October 2009

NEPAL - $1,577 came in to purchase needed safety supplies like flashlights, rain gear and hiking boots plus gospel materials for 31 missionaries who trek up rugged mountain trails to take the gospel to rural villages.

JORDAN – 26 gifts totaling $2,590 were sent to help the poor Bedouins replace livestock that were lost to hoof and mouth disease.

PERU –Praise the Lord enough gifts were given to cover the cost of 8 megaphones for missionaries who preach the gospel in outdoor locations.

SUDAN - A total of $692 came in to help Athian, a believer who will start a medical clinic as a way of expressing God’s love.

TAIWAN – $1,300 was received to help those who suffered from the Typhoon Morkat, which swept across Taiwan causing much destruction.

THAILAND – Praise God, we received 8 gifts that covered the cost of a motorcycle to aid the Lau Living Word ministry in getting the Christian study materials to new Christians.

ALBANIA – Over $160 was given to assist Albanian Christians in reaching their Muslim neighbors with the gospel.

September 2009

EASTERN EUROPE AND RUSSIA - Ten gifts totaling $745 came in to help Slavik Radchuk reach millions of listeners with his gospel broadcasts and tape ministry.

NIRERIA, Africa - Donations of $280 came in for a needed 4-wheel drive vehicle.

IRAQ, Middle East - After seeing the need to bring the gospel to the hurting people in Iraq, 11- year- old, Christopher personally brought in his own contribution. 19 individual gifts came to $906 and will supply 453 New Testaments.

NORTH AFRICA - Thanks for the 11 gifts reaching $1,130 towards expanding agriculture project which is turning desert land into a fruitful oasis providing food for poor Christian families.

GUATEMALA, South America - Praise God for 30 gifts to assist in the feeding of 150 children in Roland and Noemi Gonzales after- school care program located in the slums in Guajito. A generous $2,071 came in for this need.

August 2009

TIBET, China - This winter all the orphans at the Ark Tibetan Handicapped Orphanage will be warmer because funds were received to increase the insulation throughout the facility.

UKRAINE, Eastern Europe - Gifts were sent to help 10 year old Angela start growth treatments. More funds are needed to continue the rest of the treatments.

North Africa - $6,357 was received to aid three believers who were arrested under false charges.

SYRIA, Middle East - Thank you for giving $704 to provide a Bible and other materials for young college ladies of Muslim background.

SIBERIA, Russia - Six graduates from a Bible mission school went on a 620 mile river journey north to an unreached rural village. $1,143 has been given toward their housing and living costs.

PARAGUAY, South America - Received $125 to help another village install a well for safe drinking water.

BOLIVIA, South America - To help reach unreached people groups living along the rivers, a total of $330 came in for a purchase of outboard motors for two small boats.

July 2009

BHUTAN - South Asia - So far $190 given toward a motorcycle for a ministry leader.

PHILIPPINES, Southeast Asia - $2,427.28 was received to aid Redeemed by the Blood Ministry care for 30 elderly people who have no home, no income and no family able to help them.

BANGLADESH, South Asia - Ten prayer partners reached into their pocket to give $330 toward medical treatment for an an eight year old girl who suffered severe burns.

SYRIA, Middle East - $285 received toward soon a Christian run medical clinic to help gypsies.

Africa - $2,846.28 received to rescue children from the control of the Marabous (African witch doctors) who force them into a life of begging on the streets.

ECUADOR, South America - 34 gifts came in to supply clothing and shoes to the children in the remote village of Anchayacu. The $2,893.19 received allowed believers to provide for 144 children.

June 2009

INDONESIA - $305 come in to buy a second projector and supplies for Jesus film ministry.

NEPAL - $400 received to restock medical supplies to help children who have no other medical help.

SENEGAL - $418 came in for the School of Discipleship to help provide rooms for students.

SIBERIA - $527 was received to help build a meeting place outside the city of Irkutsk.

MEXICO - $492 came in to aid the work among the Huichal tribal people.

ARGENTINA - 23 gifts received in the amount of $1,641.50 to supply food for 150 needy Wichi children in the feeding program.

PAKISTAN - Gifts received in the amount of $1,515 are used to help a couple start a ministry in an unreached area.

May 2009

PHILIPPINES - $1410 was received to help purchase 3 trained carabao (water buffalo).

CHINA - $100 received to help people still recovering from the deadly earthquake in Sichuan Province.

ECUADOR - Praise the Lord! Through generous gifts 59 poor children, who have a parent in prison, received clothing and shoes.

BANGLADESH - So far $737 has been received toward rebuilding a church building destroyed by fire.

JORDAN - Enough gifts were sent to provide school supplies for 31 Bedouin children.

HONDURAS - Sufficient funds received to purchase four horses with saddles for rural missionaries.

NIGERIA - $1,139 was received toward a leg operation for missionary Ifanye.

April 2009

North Africa - Funds were given to buy one camel for missionary transportation in the desert.

UKRAINE, Eastern Europe - Funds were raised to supply one months worth of speech therapy for four children.

ARGENTINA, South America - $300 was raised toward the feeding program to aid poor immigrant families.

Middle East - Funds were given to supply one week’s cost for evangelistic radio broadcast.

PHILIPPINES, Southeast Asia - To the glory of God the full amount was supplied to buy a lot and build a church building for Christians who were meeting under the tree.

March 2009

ARGENTINA, South America - A full three months support plus $320 extra came in for a ministry to feed poor children and also to reach their families.

INDIA, South Asia - Christian Aid received funds to replace 28 bicycles for the missionaries whose bikes were destroyed in a wave of persecution.

BURMA, Southeast Asia - Donors supplied 122 Bibles for new believers who wish to grow in their faith and share with their friends and families.

UKRAINE, Eastern Europe - $1123 came in to supply 10-year-old Angela with hormone treatments. Praise God we have received a report that they are working!

North Africa - Praise the Lord! The full amount came in for a well at a center for refugee families.

URUGUAY, South America - We received sufficient funds to supply 70 needy children with clothing and shoes.

LEBANON, Middle East - Food parcels were supplied for 14 needy families as a tangible expression of the love of Jesus.

February 2009

COLUMBIA, South America - Gifts came in to supply a church with the Sunday school materials they needed.

PHILIPPINES, Southeast Asia - $85 was given toward the expenses of a youth camp this summer.

INDIA, South Asia - Provision for school books and other supplies came in to cover the cost for 27 children so they can resume their studies.

North Africa - Two months support came in to encourage those working with the poor girls who were rescued from unkind men.

VIETNAM, Southeast Asia - Enough money was given to place metal roofing on the houses of 26 needy Christian village families.

January 2009

Togo - We received $580 to buy tapes and booklets for the work among Muslims.

Peru - We were able to completely meet the need for sturdy walking shoes for the missionaries who have to walk through the Andes Mountains.

Pakistan - Many tents and warm blankets were able to be purchased with the $1064 that came in for the earthquake victims.

India - We received $2250 to help a missionary start a chicken farm to provide needed income for his family so he can still do the work of the ministry.

Vietnam - $705 was given to provide needed medicines for poor believers.

Argentina - To help new churches get started 90 Bibles were provided for Argentina believers.

Syria - For the needs of prisoners in Syria we received $2027.
